Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 5, 2026

This privacy policy describes how Budget Champ Pro (“the App,” “we,” “our,” “us”) handles information when you use it on your iPhone or iPad. We’ve kept it short because Budget Champ Pro collects almost nothing.

Who we are

Budget Champ Pro is published by Logan Lindgren, an individual developer (“the Developer”). You can reach the Developer at leadchamp1@outlook.com.

What information Budget Champ Pro stores

Budget Champ Pro stores the bills you create directly on your device, including:

This information lives in the App’s local storage on your iPhone or iPad. It is not transmitted to any server operated by the Developer. We do not operate any servers, databases, or backups that hold your bill information.

If you uninstall Budget Champ Pro, all of this information is permanently deleted. The Developer cannot recover it.

What Budget Champ Pro sends to third parties

Budget Champ Pro uses two third-party services. Both are only invoked when you take a specific action.

1. Anthropic (camera bill scan, Pro feature only)

When you tap the camera scan button — a Pro-only feature — Budget Champ Pro sends the photo you just took, plus a text prompt asking for the bill amount and due date, to Anthropic’s API at api.anthropic.com. Anthropic returns the extracted text, and the photo is discarded by the App after the response is received.

Anthropic’s API does not retain or train on data sent through API requests. Their full data usage policy is at https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

The photo never travels to any server operated by the Developer. The Developer cannot see your photos.

If you do not use the camera scan feature, no data is sent to Anthropic.

2. RevenueCat (Pro purchase management)

When you upgrade to Budget Champ Pro through an in-app purchase, RevenueCat (a subscription-management service) records that purchase under an anonymous ID generated by the App. This ID is not tied to your name, email, Apple ID, or any other identifier the Developer can read.

RevenueCat receives:

RevenueCat does not receive your bill data, your photos, or any other information. Their privacy policy is at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

If you never upgrade to Pro, no data is sent to RevenueCat.

What Budget Champ Pro does NOT do

Notifications

Budget Champ Pro uses local notifications (managed entirely by iOS) to remind you about upcoming due dates. These notifications are scheduled and delivered by your device. They do not pass through any server, including ours.

You can disable notifications anytime in iOS Settings → Notifications → Budget Champ.

Camera and photo permissions

When you use the Pro camera scan feature, Budget Champ Pro asks for camera permission. If you choose to attach an existing photo to a bill, we ask for photo library read permission. We never request photo library write permission and we do not save anything to your library.

You can revoke these permissions anytime in iOS Settings → Budget Champ.

Children’s privacy

Budget Champ Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information about children. If you are under 13, please do not use the App.

Your rights

Because all your bill data lives on your device, you can exercise the following rights instantly without contacting us:

If you have a question about your rights under GDPR, CCPA, or any other privacy regulation, email leadchamp1@outlook.com.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at the same URL where you read this one. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. For material changes (e.g., a new third-party service is added), we will also flag the change inside the App on next launch.
